How can I contact Microsoft Rewards support over the phone?

The automated responses on the support site ask me to create a Service Request, which I have done multiple times over the past 2 months. Yet no one responds to the requests. It feel like the requests go into a black hole. How can I speak to someone on the phone at Microsoft Rewards about an issue?

Its an absolute waste of time messaging Microsoft Rewards Support.

I message them about my account restriction meaning I cannot redeem rewards, and they all keep replying with pretty much the same script:

"I hope this email finds you well! This is [XXXXXXX] from Microsoft Rewards support and I’ll be more than willing to give you full assistance with your Service Request number 7027XXXXXX. *I truly understand that you still can’t redeem rewards as your account is currently under temporary restriction. Of course, I am more than willing to fully utilize everything here on my end to check on this and help you out with it. I do understand how important it is for us to redeem and get rewards for the points we’ve earned. Let’s partner and check on this.Upon our review, it appears that your Microsoft Rewards account may not fully align with the terms outlined in theMicrosoft Services Agreement. Specifically, it's important to note that when using Bing for search, it should be done manually and in good faith for personal research purposes. This means that queries entered by bots, macros, or any other automated or fraudulent means are not in compliance with our guidelines.*The good news is that the restrictions on your Rewards account will automatically be lifted in the coming days when we detect more genuine search behavior. We encourage you to use Bing search in a natural and authentic manner to ensure a smooth experience with Microsoft Rewards."

Then the minute I get this response, they close my query, do not respond to any follow up emails from me, my account restrictions do not get lifted, and I have to open another query. Whereby they continue to insinuate I use a bot to search Bing to gain Microsoft Rewards even though I don't use a bot (and I can't be bothered to find out how this is done) and I rarely use Bing anyway.

I've had this response 3 or 4 times now.

Without doubt the worst 'customer service' ever.

I am in the same boat. They keep telling me put in a ticket. Well I HAVE and I am getting ZERO help. THIS IS A SCAM. I tried even opening another ticket and they responded by closing that ticket and asked that I respond to my original ticket.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I HAVE responded MANY MANY times and I just get ignored. THIS IS BS, I HATE DEALING WITH YOU MICROSOFT. Why dont you actually help your customers instead of giving them the run around constantly? Shame on you

What's even more annoying? I recently figured out I can redeem points for sweepstakes entries but can't redeem points for Amazon Gift Cards. I'm allowed to use points on something worthless, but I can't use them on something with real value. Sounds like bait and switch to me.

You're lucky - I'm not even allowed to enter the Sweepstakes, and that's all I've been trying to do.

I am so sorry it has been a year with no answers for you from Microsoft. It just doesn't seem that difficult for them to fix. Microsoft and every other company simply gives users like us alternative ways to confirm our identity, in case one of the confirmation types aren't working. This time, and it looks like exactly what is happening to you, I am taken to a page that only allows me to enter my phone number. I enter the phone number and Microsoft sends me the confirmation number to that exact phone number (which gives me the exact number that proves it went to my phone, otherwise iwouldnothave the confirmation number at all). I then enter that confirmation number that Microsoft just sent to my phone number. Then it doesn't take the number they just sent to my phone number. This is outrageous and makes no sense.

Then there is no way to check a box to just go to an alternative way to confirm it is me. Instead it is just a dead end with no way out.

I hope things get back to normal for you. I had no idea that this is a regular thing that is happening, and nothing is being fixed by Microsoft.

I have been trying to get to them for a year now .

I have points that I want to use for a gift card ..

And I can not get a hold of them or use my pts..

Last year they did say to use a cell phone ,well I don't have one of them. They do not work at my location ,

so why own one. Then they told me to barrow one ,well I tried that 2 months ago and I still couldn't use my pts.

They said that wasn't my number that was linked to my acct.. ! facepalm...

I'm about to give up... And tell MS what they can do with their bloody pts..
