I purchased a order from samsung.com via Microsoft Cashback and it immediately said my cashback is success. However, several days later, the cashback case even disappeared from the pending cashback category. I would not make that purchase without the cashback, and yes, I contact them via the Microsoft cashback webpage, and no one respond. So it does look like a scam. Any ideas?

HOW DO YOU TURN THIS )(#$*&% MS CASHBACK OFF? I DIDN'T ASK FOR IT, I NEVER OPTED IN, THEY ARE BASICALLY SPYING ON ME, THEY SHOULD HAVE NO VISIBILITY INTO MY EBAY TRANSACTIONS. I AM SO SICK OF THIS NONSENSE.

Same problem.
Sent email with all supporting document (MS email confirmation to me, my online order, screen shots, etc.). After an initial case # assigned and an MS email to me that MS would look into it, MS no longer responded to multiple inquiries / emails for follow-up. I followed all the rules - signup, use of MS Edge, etc.
This is not a true scam, it is a legitimate MS offering, but MS is cheating customers then refusing responses to fix the missing $ credits.
I received a bonus offer from a legitimate cashback site. I clicked through and made a purchase, then received an email form Microsoft Cashback, indicating, in effect, that they overrode what I did without my consent, eliminating what I did and the eliminating the bonus offer I clicked through from another site.
Not only that, they literally defraud you. There is a cashback site I have used for years. I received a spending offer, and clicked through it and made a purchase. I then received an email from Microsoft Cashback indicating, in effect, that they overrode what I did, stole my transaction from the cashback site I physically used for the purchase, and defrauded me of the bonus I qualified for
Same experience here. Bought a pretty hefty order from Home Depot thinking I was going to get 8% cashback by clicking through the promotional Microsoft Bing Cashback email sent to my email. I clicked through, ensured I was signed in my Microsoft account, and placed my order. There was no confirmation or anything that the cashback would be offered or was confirmed. I contacted customer service who got back to me requesting the order information...then nothing. I followed up 4-5 times, each spaced with some time in between so it wasn't repetitive, everyday pestering. But still...nothing. It's pretty obvious they're avoiding customers after googling, as this seems like a consistent issue. There's no excuse to not even write back for over a month, even if "understaffed" as another comment on here claims. This program is nothing short of a scam, and I hope no one supports it...as it seems like they're probably just taking all of the proceeds that come with the partnerships with the other companies.
