Is Microsoft Cashback a scam?

I purchased a order from samsung.com via Microsoft Cashback and it immediately said my cashback is success. However, several days later, the cashback case even disappeared from the pending cashback category. I would not make that purchase without the cashback, and yes, I contact them via the Microsoft cashback webpage, and no one respond. So it does look like a scam. Any ideas?

    Same here, I made a big purchase from Home Depot and used Microsoft Cashback for the first time because it offered 8% cashback

    I usually use Rakuten which always works and I have received my cash back everytime.

    I tried to contact MS Support for cashback multiple times via the support web portal but each time told that it takes time but I know it is not coming now and never shows pending even though I have the screenshot from the web sale which shows the MS Cashback ON and earning the 8% on this.. I have informed them of that but they do not even ask to look at the file.

    Rakuten support has been 100% on making sure any trip I use them for cashback goes through if there is a problem and I have the screenshot.

    Will not use MS Cashback anymore.

    I do get the cashback awards no problem with smaller purchases. I made a large purchase that would have resulted in a significant cashback award and that was canceled because they said the purchase was "returned." It was contact lenses, that were never returned. I sent several messages through support. They finally responded requesting documentation, no response. So I followed up several times only to get a message this weekend that they hadn't heard from me, ironically after I said that I would be filing a complaint. I responded AGAIN but at this point I'm so fed up that I filed a complaint with the FTC fraud website. I know it's a long shot but the lack of responsiveness when I've spent thousands as a Microsoft customer only to be denied a measly $40 is unacceptable. It's the principle of the matter at this point.

    It always happens around Christmas time when everyone is shopping online. I think Microsoft intentionally breaks Bing Rewards. The company is still receiving rewards and monies from the merchants, but it does not show on your Bing Rebates and if you try to Redeem or Check status Bing Rebates crashes. I haven't been able to access Bing Rebates for the past 3 weeks and I have activated Bing Rebates on about 20 online orders. I should have received over $20 in Bing Rebates but the status showing $2.11 Pending has not changed in 2 months. Bing Rebates is a scam that you cannot disable. Microsoft gets money for your shopping and then keeps it.

    My issue is the inability to claim the cashback they say I have earned. I have repeatedly deleted and then added back the phone number. I repeatedly get the message that before getting the cashback I have to add a phone number. Honestly, my time spent on this over the last year is not worth the so called cashback I have earned.

    I tried to unsubscribe from the emails, but can't find a way to do that either.

    What a joke!
