Very disappointed with Microsoft rewards, I have enough points to redeem for a gift card and it says

There’s an issue with your account or order Please contact Microsoft Rewards customer support for assistance.

I contacted customer support over 3 weeks ago and haven’t received a reply even though it says you will get a response within 24 hours. Please can someone sort this out, I have redeemed in the past and has no issues but now I can’t redeem anything which isn’t fair on me.

Thank you

I can't redeem it because the method has been changed. I redeemed before - a code was sent to my email. I could print the reward (ecard) out or transfer it to the store I wanted.
I don't have a cell phone so I can't get SMS texts. I have VoIP so my landline number won't work per MSN. There is no place to put my landline number anyway.
So much for getting a code - I can't. There's no way I can get it.

I have heard of this issue or issues you are having. This happened to my friend, and he found out after weeks of trying Microsoft deactivated his account because of violating the terms of service. Your case sounds like the same issue as my friend. If this is the case, don't even worry about getting Microsoft to reactivate it because they will not. They wouldn't even give him a reason why. The only thing I can think of is he and his wife both were using Microsoft rewards in the same household, and you can only have one account per household. I figure Microsoft busted him because of the IP address was the same for both accounts.

Thanks for sharing MSN's non-answer!! It's MSN's problem and they won't fix it. Other replies say that they may have run out of cards. Really??? These aren't physical cards - they're e-cards. MSN pays these companies a sum of money to cover these. Add in that MSN has changed how to retrieve them. If I asked them why, I'd get 'it's a security feature'
    It's not - it's an inconvenience.

I don't have a cell so no SMS text. I can't enter the landline since it's VoIP. Everything works until I get to that point.
MSN needs to stop screwing around with things. They have Windows 10 wrapped into 360. I'm not paying $199 a yr. for 360 since I don't use it. I have an old version and never use that! They haven't fixed Windows 10 and are going to force us to Windows 11 which has a boatload of problems.
I'd like to know which update changed Rewards so I could delete it.
