I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    Hi!
    I've been trying this both on PC and on Phone, (Both yesterday and today) and the OTP is not being sent.
    So it's impossible to verify the phone number.

    Edited: For People having this problem: Your phone can block SMS OTP if it thinks the msg. is spam.
    My msg. was in the spam folder on my phone.

    I had this problem , but it was due to my phone marking the msg. as spam.
    Found the OTP in my "spam" bin.

    Anyone had any luck adding phone number to the account. I hBe tried everything from brand new install to all other suggestions I can find. Like incognito mode . Using cellular network. Etc

    I have logged this about 20 times with support without any useful help
