I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    Heya everyone! I have found a way to redeem points without this whole phone-number-verification-snag. Just download the bing app and login to your account. You will find an option "Microsoft Rewards". From there you will be directed to "Redeem your points" and it works quite smoothly. I just redeemed a Flipkart gift card (after waiting for so long :D).

    Same problem.

    Cannot redeem any rewards points for vouchers because website does not accept phone number.

    I have this problem too I want to redeem robux for my friend but I can't because Microsoft doesn't support sint maarten phone numbers they need to fix all of this

    Recently change cellphone needed new sim/plan and got a new number removed my old number from my microsoft account and rewards, then added my new number and now I get this message when trying to add phone number to redeem rewards. It's already added to my microsoft account but rewards doesn't recognize that I have tried removing it and going through redeem reward and adding but its same message. this alias cannot be added to your account. Choose a different alias. microsoft rewards. The only way I have of redeeming rewards now is through the bing app on my phone. Clearly your rewards requesting a phone number is not in sync with actual security options on account otherwise it would detect my phone number. You can't expect someone to have same cellphone their entire lifetime using microsoft rewards.
