I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

2024-01-26T21:56:31+00:00 For what it's worth, I just redeemed my points on my Xbox for an Xbox gift card and didn't have to do that stupid phone verification at all. The phone verification is still not working when I try to add my phone number to my Microsoft account.

2024-01-22T04:39:31+00:00 i received the otp but after entering the otp it shows that " there is a temporary problem with this service" and it shows from 4 to 5 days before.

Your phone number can contain numbers, spaces, and these special characters: ( ) [ ] . - * /" and its getting really annoying and nothings working, please help me.
