I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    From Microsoft: Please be advised that the phone number ########## is already linked with another account, what we need to do in order to get this resolved is for you to sign in using ########## and remove it from the account. First, please sign in here https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ using your phone number and follow these steps 1. Click "Edit account info" 2. Click on the phone number and click "remove" 3. Sign out of the account and add it to your desired account

    I have the same problem when adding my phone number and it says that "That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method." What should I do?

    i keep trying to redeem my robux from microsoft rewards but i forgot my password and i made a new one but now its saying im blocked to put in my phone number this has happened a week ago and its still doing the same thing i really dont know how to fix it
