I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

La seule méthode qui m'est proposée est d'entrer un numéro de téléphone. Quelle autre méthode peut m'être proposée si je n'ai pas de choix ? J'ai ajouté une capture d'écran pour illustrer le problème.

"Try another verification method
That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method."
and when i try again the next day it the same and because of this issue i am facing difficulties
