I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    Rien et j'ai le problème depuis 4 ans environ (2021) . Les équipes de chez Microsoft ne savent pas apporter de solution. Si tu trouves, fait le moi savoir. Merci !

    My phone number IS added when I check security>manage how I sign in. It even says it is "up to date" yet when redeeming for the 15.00 Amazon gift card, it says my number is already in use. Well no cr*p, it is on the account I am using. I am not able to redeem for what I want. Also does not give an option to email either.
