I have access to the new Bing but cannot use the chat function in Bing on Edge

I joined the waitlist about 10 days ago and got access a few days ago. However, when I attempt to use Bing chat in Edge, it always pops up a screen and tells me that "Chat mode is only available when you have access to the new Bing." I have signed in with the account to which the access has been granted. How do I resolve the issue?

I gave Edge a chance and tried to fix the issue for a few days. If they are going to leave me hanging with no way to resolve the issue, then I'm done with them. I've already sent this link to a dozen people having the same issue. Bye bye Edge.

Any other ideas? I tried uninstalling completely from my Applications (MAC OS) but to no avail.

I have had the same problem, and I have even tried running it on the Edge Sidebar, and it still doesn't work.
