I joined the waitlist about 10 days ago and got access a few days ago. However, when I attempt to use Bing chat in Edge, it always pops up a screen and tells me that "Chat mode is only available when you have access to the new Bing." I have signed in with the account to which the access has been granted. How do I resolve the issue?

I have the same problem. I did not get email regarding receiving access to bing, but the prompt itself says "You're in! Welcome to the new Bing!". And after I click Chat Now I get navigated to chat and see the same prompt again.

Ensure:
that's microsoft. check community posts. some bugs for all products/services last for years when ms is not interested in fixing them. if it's impacting only a few people, forget about it, it will be ignored.
edit: i tried support. twice. well, the form doesn't even have bing as an option for products or services. and the support people insisted it's a windows issue so i gave up.
