I have access to the new Bing but cannot use the chat function in Bing on Edge

I joined the waitlist about 10 days ago and got access a few days ago. However, when I attempt to use Bing chat in Edge, it always pops up a screen and tells me that "Chat mode is only available when you have access to the new Bing." I have signed in with the account to which the access has been granted. How do I resolve the issue?

    i have the same problem, but you can try to search anything, when the search results appear, you can switch to tap Chat and now you can use Bing Chat. Hope that help you.

    i try to do this but it just opens a new tab with the youre in message, i have cleared my cache and cookies and tha does not work either, it just shows a blank screen. any help?

    This doesn't help. In fact it tells me it is unavailable inPrivate.

    To hell with the "Bing" chat feature. Too many qualifiers to use after being a Bing participant for at least a decade.

    There are many other AI options to use out there other than this one.

    Little wonder Microsoft is now just an "after thought" in most peoples minds.
