Commercial use of images generated using Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer"

As noted in other questions on this topic, the terms of use for Microsoft services capable of AI image generation appear to have changed in late 2023/early 2024 from a clear "non-commercial use only" policy to an ambiguous "Microsoft does not claim ownership of creations" one, with no mention of how those creations can be legally used.

Can an advisor please clarify the current (end of Jan 2024) restrictions on use of AI-generated images from Microsoft services such as Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer", as well as any requirements for attribution/watermarks to enable unrestricted commercial use?

    The initial Terms of use stated that you can't you the images or creations for commercial use.

    The latest terms of use removed that clause.

    To summarize, although I am not a lawyer but I think there is no issue in using the creations for commercial purposes.

    Thank you Ravi you do a lot of work. I see your name quite frequently assisting and helping others including me.

    I have been working with CoPilot and CoPilot Pro for over a year and the improvements have been nothing less than spectacular. I only want to say that this is not an issue for those that use the Bing CoPilot it is now integrated and is a superb tool.
