As noted in other questions on this topic, the terms of use for Microsoft services capable of AI image generation appear to have changed in late 2023/early 2024 from a clear "non-commercial use only" policy to an ambiguous "Microsoft does not claim ownership of creations" one, with no mention of how those creations can be legally used.
Can an advisor please clarify the current (end of Jan 2024) restrictions on use of AI-generated images from Microsoft services such as Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer", as well as any requirements for attribution/watermarks to enable unrestricted commercial use?

How do I add a Watermark and what should the Watermark Be? If you could send me an example of an image with the Watermark on it that would be great.
I think Chavi invented that watermark idea. There are terms at Microsoft Designer and I've read that no commercial use possible. That PDF is dated Dec. 1st, 2023. There may be later documents, look for one.

Stacy, there is NOTHING in the terms for MS Designer about watermarks, that is INVENTED by Chavi.
do I have to give credit to Microsoft "image creator by designer" if I use images for a book I might publish?
Considering it took me over 10 hours and 150+ attempts to get AI to create a single usable image yesterday, it can be argued that I have a considerable amount of my own ideas plus labor put into my images. And the images nearly always need at least some manual editing afterward.
I do have to agree with this. I love designer. However, to get a usable image for my team or downline or even to gift images I can spend all 100 coins just on two people. It does take a significant amount of time to create a use case that is tailored to your own specific needs, then ask the AI to Generate the Image. It never takes just one pass on average for me by the 16th images it starts to get it right or close to being right.
