Commercial use of images generated using Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer"

If Microsoft can't tell you their rules, then legal counsel can't either, so their standard response in that case is , "No, you can't. Don't do it." Don't waste your money on the legal counsel.

Ok, thanks, but how it can be used by designer? This is the point! Some publishers have their books ready to publish but they couldn't be able to do it because of this unclear permit! I couldn't find any clear respond from Microsoft in anywhere unless some phone numbers could be found which they present themselves as the Microsoft representative and push the caller to buy their package as soon as possible! It appears the Designer 'Terms of Use' also says it is essentially it is up to you to verify you are not copying someone else's work. You can do this by running your images through online image copy checking tools, as described in my previous post.

Yes, A User2’s response is the correct one. I would just add, your legal counsel might say the steps A User2 recommended you take do not provide sufficient assurance. And if so, you have your answer—you cannot use them. If you need a high level of assurance, hire an artist or designer to create them (and make sure your contract specifies how AI can or cannot be used in the artwork).
