Commercial use of images generated using Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer"

As noted in other questions on this topic, the terms of use for Microsoft services capable of AI image generation appear to have changed in late 2023/early 2024 from a clear "non-commercial use only" policy to an ambiguous "Microsoft does not claim ownership of creations" one, with no mention of how those creations can be legally used.

Can an advisor please clarify the current (end of Jan 2024) restrictions on use of AI-generated images from Microsoft services such as Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer", as well as any requirements for attribution/watermarks to enable unrestricted commercial use?

    This is such a joke. It is ridiculous that something like this is happening. It seems that everyone who is asking question understands except for Microsoft. So i will ask again.

    If I use Bing AI image creator or however it is called to for example create an image of 2 cabins in the woods. When the image is generated I download the created image.

    Can I take that image and put it for example inside a video, on some cover, a freaking billboard without changing any aspect of it, for example cutting parts out, adding some captions or some other type of work on image. Basically is this generated image now my ownership and I can do whatever I want with it, or in order to use that generated image do I have to somewhere credit or attribute the fact that this image was created in Bing AI and its owner is Microsoft?

    If ownership is mine can I put my own watermark to prove everyone else that I own the image, or if Microsoft or someone else is the owner what do I have to put so that everyone knows I dont own the image and I point to the rightfull owner.

    This is very, very simple question. I hope really hope that an answer to this question is actually a real answer.

    The tool is not for commercial use. And "Microsoft does not claim ownership...", They are talking about the content you upload to the tool. so in logical summary, it is not commercial use for the output result. I think.

    Good morning, I saw a "review" that Microsoft CoPilot did on a novel. Is it permissable to use that review on a website as long as I attribute the review from CoPilot? Thanks for any thoughts on this!

    How do you add a watermark. I have only just come across Microsoft AI Image Creator and am interested to know if these generated images are royalty free and can be used commercially on websites, PowerPoint presentations etc?

    Clarification would be great on this.
