Commercial use of images generated using Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer"

As noted in other questions on this topic, the terms of use for Microsoft services capable of AI image generation appear to have changed in late 2023/early 2024 from a clear "non-commercial use only" policy to an ambiguous "Microsoft does not claim ownership of creations" one, with no mention of how those creations can be legally used.

Can an advisor please clarify the current (end of Jan 2024) restrictions on use of AI-generated images from Microsoft services such as Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer", as well as any requirements for attribution/watermarks to enable unrestricted commercial use?

    Hello,
    I wanted to ask what is the result of this topic?
    Have you used the images in commercial use? Did you add a watermark? How did you add it?

    In the terms of conditions, it only says not allowed for commercial use. Do you think has ti changed again?

    Your own watermark or a copilot watermark?

    Did you make the image yourself through your own creative efforts and without assistance? If so, use your own.

    If this is AI generated and you did not use your own personal talents to make the image...use a copilot watermark. (because they are the ones that generated the images using the works of other original artist)

    Just my personal opinion...if you wanna be safe. I have a feeling the restrictions will only get stronger with time not lesser. I'm not touching this because I think it is going to turn into a mess.

    I just downloaded the app, can you please walk me through being able to use the images for commercial use.

    1. Is it just images created in Copolit? Or are Bing image created images also covered?
    2. What type of watermark is acceptable? Does the watermark need to be only on mock-ups or do they need to be embedded into the image itself?

    I do wish to things correctly. Please help me to fully understand.
