As noted in other questions on this topic, the terms of use for Microsoft services capable of AI image generation appear to have changed in late 2023/early 2024 from a clear "non-commercial use only" policy to an ambiguous "Microsoft does not claim ownership of creations" one, with no mention of how those creations can be legally used.
Can an advisor please clarify the current (end of Jan 2024) restrictions on use of AI-generated images from Microsoft services such as Copilot, Bing AI and "Image Creator from Designer", as well as any requirements for attribution/watermarks to enable unrestricted commercial use?

Thanks, all the images I have created have gotten watermark and additionally a copy of each created image is saved as a copy for capilot which will work as a copyright.
I think the whole thing about adding a 'watermark' is not adding some kind of Bing or Microsoft watermark, but adding your own company watermark to your images to dissuade others from reusing your images, as most AI generated images are not currently protected by copyright, unlike a manually created image which is protected by copyright.

I generated several images from Co-Pilot. They didn't come with a company or creator so how can I add a watermark. How can I use these images?
