Why am I getting "Oops! Looks like you're on the go" in Microsoft Rewards?

So I'm just trying to complete my daily rewards, and I get this message. I use a VPN so I don't know if that's the problem, but I need to use a VPN because Czechia gets literally 1 daily reward A MONTH!!! And the message also sometimes pops up when I'm not using a VPN. So can someone help me get rid of the message? If not, then at least add daily rewards for Czechia daily and not monthly.

    Hi Jen

Also having this problem. It’s happens twice in the last month, the first one breaking a 150 daily streak. Also not using a VPN nor out of the country.

Problem appears on Mobile (iPhone Bing App) and XBSX Rewards App, Bing App and Edge App. Checked son’s Xbox One S and he has no issue and he’s on the same network with his account.

I had linked my personal and work accounts and the iPhone does sometimes force a VPN for certain work apps but that would be under my work account, not personal one and it’s the personal one that is on XBSX and iPhone Xbox Apps including Bing.. If this is the reason, it’s a major hole in the system but the only thing I can think of and removes the point of linking accounts. I’ve now stopped linking them but will have to wait and see if that solves the issue. I’ve logged two support calls but yet to receive an answer first time so doubt I will this time either.

    Had the same.

Out of interest have you linked work and personal accounts? My work and personal account is on my phone and sometimes forces VPN for certain apps for work. I’m wondering if that’s the issue as might have opened Bing on the phone (which is linked to my Personal account) whilst the VPN was active for a certain app through my work account. However that could only ever be on my phone and doesn’t really make sense as my work account is always on my laptop which ALWAYS has a VPN active and has done for over a decade. I’ve rarely used the personal Microsoft Account on the work laptop and up until a month ago, never had any issues.

Last time this happened it sorted itself out in 24hrs but lost the streak which was annoying. Have done all the clear caches and location settings as well. Personally think this is an issue at MS’s end but some feedback would be nice.

Well, I don't know if this will work for anyone else, but I uninstalled Bing on my cell phone, re-installed it with permission to use location, and now I am working again on my laptop. I did use the cell phone rewards page on a recent overseas trip and that started my problem. My solution anyway.
