It's rubbish since Copilot was added to Bing/Edge.
Copilot's integration causes a lag of up to 5 seconds on every search.
Here it is in Upper Case "shouty" as Microsoft seem to ignore all feedback in this disaster (Copilot integration) which is the worst thing since the dreaded hyperactive and patronising Paperclip "helper".
Copilot integration is simply awful. I'm sure it has it's uses, and that it will get better over time but at present it's simply awful and causes searches to fail to register rewards points.
Try typing, for example, a series of searches ( to complete 30 searches for 90 rewards points) in the format:
"A1 <ENTER/CR>; A2 <ENTER/CR>; A3 <ENTER/CR>; .... Etc, up to A30 <ENTER/CR>
NO REWARDS POINTS ARE REGISTERED UNLESS THERE IS A PAUSE OF UP TO 5 SECONDS BETWEEN ENTERING THE SEARCH TERM AND PRESSING <ENTER/RETURN>
In addition, DESPITE NO REWARDS POINTS BEING AWARDED, ONCE USED, THE SAME SEARCH TERM WILL NEVER RETURN REWARDS POINTS FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
IT'S ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TO USE AND I ABSOLUTELY AVOID USING BEDGE AND BING - I no longer use EDGE OR BING if I have any choice, OTHER THAN for THE MANDATORY USE FOR REWARDS POINTS - BUT THIS LIMITED USE ITSELF IS BECOMING SO IRRITATING AND TIME CONSUMING THAT I AM QUESTIONING WHETHER TO CONTINUE AT ALL.
In short - Microsoft Copilot integration into Edge has been fraught with bugs and is ludicrously interfering with perfectly decent searches and - for me - I have lost Rewards points, rewards, continuity streaks and wasted an awful amount of time repeating - and repeating, and repeating - fresh searches and trying to completely disengage with Copliot in Bing and Edge.
Seriously, it's like trying to work with an ultra inquisitive 3 year old sitting on your shoulder, questioning, commenting and making - mostly pathetically pointless and patronising - commentary on every single keystroke, and with incremental irritation at each and every attempted search.
