Microsoft Rewards searches not earning me points for every search

Ok so I have a big problem with Microsoft Rewards that has been ongoing for months with no resolution. I am aware this might be not be best place to ask this question, but unfortunately I've already contacted Microsoft Rewards support multiple times only for them to give me information that is useless. I think they don't understand my problem and are giving me information that doesn't work. Basically what's been happening is on a new day of using Microsoft Rewards searching using both Desktop and Mobile, I usually get points for a few searches, usually no more than 4. You'd think if I searched for something random like a random bunch of letters of a random number like I usually do to earn points, it would give me the 5 points for a search, but no. For some reason it's limited to at least 4, I'm pretty sure. Then once I hit 4 I have to wait an unknown amount of time to search another 4 or however many I can search for. Why is this a thing? When I have contacted Microsoft Rewards support, twice now the agent in charge of the support request tells me that I should be rewarded the points after a couple of initial searches. While technically I do get up to 4 searches that actually give me points at the start of a new day when I've earned no points for the day, I can't earn any more points for searching until I've waited for a while. And that amount of time is completely unknown. The most recent email which for some reason has been going to my outlook account/microsoft email account instead of the desired email address, they state a way to help with my problem by clearing the search history from Edge. I rarely use Edge anymore, as I primarily use Firefox. So how does this help, like at all? I have no idea how to fix this issue and should not have to wait to search again. This has never happened to me before and started months ago and still hasn't been fixed yet. I just submitted ANOTHER request to Microsoft Rewards support but I sincerely doubt they'll be able to provide me with any new information considering the last two times I've contacted them, I get the same response, even from a new agent telling me I get awarded after a couple of initial searches. What part of not able to earn points for searches after like 4 don't they understand? I literally can't search past 4 before I have to wait for time to pass so I can search again. I am so confused and honestly from the way Microsoft Rewards support is mishandling my cases, getting a little irritated that they don't seem to understand anything I'm explaining to them.

If anyone knows how to help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Microsoft Rewards support can't be the only way to get an issue resolved, especially if they literally are useless. First it was them not getting back to me for days and now it's them getting back to me but with useless information. This is so frustrating

    My problem just stopped. I followed ALL their suggestions - no change. Hours later the problem just stopped. If I did something I don't know what, and I'm inclined to believe that nothing I did changed anything, and the sudden improvement was caused by Microsoft. Maybe someone noticed that Simon (the office pothead) had forgotten to take off FLIGHT MODE - for the entire Northern Hemisphere? Obviously Microsoft aren't going to admit all the faults are due to their staff of teenage thirty-somethings spending much of the working day reclining on bean bags as they pass around a bong, and debate the relative merits of Almond Milk v Cashew Milk v Quinoa Milk...

    We should have known that grown ups deliberately milking nuts, before quickly graduating to milking seeds, was the first step down a very bad road. Now these people make $500,000 a year, spend 3 weeks of every working year playing ping pong, to 'destress', and pay $75 for 'recycled' sandals, even though a brand new pair sells for only $15.

    Yeah. My problem resolved itself about 12 hours into the 2nd day - no idea why, how, or what I did (if anything?). So I only missed out on the 90 points I would have got, and usually get, for one day of PC searches. 33 searches, 3 points per search after the first 3.

    I know what you mean about not quitting but the frustration caused by the repeated faults and glitches of the system do make me question whether it's worth tolerating for the few pennies accrued each day. It takes me about one month to collect 8125 points, enough for a £5 Amazon gift card. PLUS they keep raising the points needed for things AND lowering the amount of points it's possible to collect, on an average day.

    I respect your position but I doubt I'll persevere many more 'system failures' just to make £1.25 per week.

    You'd think a tech firm as successful as Microsoft would be able to run something as basic REWARDS without so many problems. Isn't Bill Gates worth more than GOD due to his legendary tech skills?

    Maybe Gates and Bezos got together and figured out a way to have a billion first world people devoting their time, seven days a week, for less renumeration than San Quentin lifers earn for making license plates, or 7 year old Bangladeshi orphans are paid for assembling circuit boards in Apple I-phones?

    I'll be 51 next month. Old enough to understand that my remaining time is too limited to waste being majorly frustrated as I help further enrich two of greediest, least likeable moneygrubbing corporate parasites since Teddy Roosevelt confronted the Gilded Age Robber Barons.

    Gates and Bezos may be scum but it could be worse. At least they're not Elon Musk.

    Good news!

    I'm able to now get my points by typing every search in manually. Before, even this wouldn't work. Best of luck to you. :) Many wars are won by those too stubborn to give up and die! :) (BTW, I"m 66, so I've fought a lot of wars!!)

    I'm having this problem now too. None of the suggested solutions work. I'm inclined to believe that Microsoft is flipping us the bird.
