Microsoft Rewards not giving points for PC search or Edge Bonus as advertised.

Hello, I also kept using Edge partly because of the rewards but I enjoyed the quizzes.

However, I read that microsoft decided to cut down on the points early in December and that everyone is affected by it. It seems they could have announced it so people would not feel they were targeted. I sent numerous emails and received 2 AI responses...

Google and Microsoft are so big they don't really care about their customers. That's too bad. Let's hope they'll change their minds and restore the credits, or do away completely with the rewards program.

I also have problems with their cash rewards, showing that I earned $xx but after a few days, the $rewards disappear.

I have the same problem. The high credit points 30 or 10, like Warspeed, daily poll, test your smarts and celebrity news are not credited. Only the small one or 2 points are. Also msn keeps telling me I broke my streak. So far i 'lost' at least 400 credit points. Emails sent are ignored or reply is sent back from Ai.

I'm so sick of microsoft. I wish I could use another system but i'm afraid I would lose my 1000 files.

Any idea about another system with similar apps, Word and Excell I could use. I'll investigate Chrome and see if i can transfer my files. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

True but only 1 only minor problem:

"you can't enter a phrase that has been searched before" You can it but it just depends which. Like I look up news sources and Axios always gives me points yet once a day.

Plus I can look up "Yogurt," followed by "John Wick," followed by "Black Fryer." and I get nothing whether its on the Bing App, Edge App, or Edge on PC.

I bet like most people ever since Microsoft made the Rewards go down to 1 digits, they tried looking up 500 different things and still only got 35 points

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you are planning to use microsoft rewards, you will need to wait 7 seconds until it adds your points. Also, yes you can spam your keyboard or type random phrases but you can't enter a phrase that has been searched before. And, microsoft rewards tasks only give 1 point, pretty useless.

Years ago it would do this every three months or so, for either a few days, or a week, but it would get fixed. Ever since Microsoft nerfed the amount of points participants could get from Microsoft Rewards and randomly banning legitimate accounts for no reason, the search function also got an overhaul. It is intended that people using the search function for points could only do so after about six seconds pass by, which did work for about a week. However, now no points (at least for me), can be earned. Does not matter what I search, doesn't matter how much time passes between searches, it just doesn't work, and it seems like Microsoft has no desire to make it work again.

My thoughts are, rather than just cancel the Microsoft Rewards program, they decided to make it function so poorly and reward points so meagerly that people will just want to stop using it altogether. Which is so bizarre to me, as most people using Mi.Re. wouldn't normally use Bing or Edge because it's subpar. I know they have to cut costs (part of which being all those layoffs), but actively making the general population not want to use their products seems like a poor business move.

As far as for a fix, nothing you can do on your end will work.
