Microsoft Rewards not giving points for PC search or Edge Bonus as advertised.

I cleared cache, reset default, updated, on/off, log in/out, points not showing up 24-hrs later, no response from Microsoft Support for 10+ days after multiple attempts. Microsoft Support recognize(d) first ticket but won't respond to first ticket. Given the above information, what is the best way to solve this puzzle? A 365 Subscriber and Outlook user for decades. No X-Box.

    Sure does seem that way.

    A year ago, you could get Shop points simply by browsing through Bing and making a purchase through whichever retailer was a part of the program. Somewhere along the way, MS changed that and now requires the user to manually activate Shop points by going through extra steps in the browser. MS never bothered to notify users about this change.

    Screwing the users, indeed.

    They didn't just eliminate the 20 points bonus, the dropped the puzzle game from 10 to 5, after that on the day after, they dropped it down to 1. The rest of the 10 points search went down to two. The earn 150 points daily search stopped giving points. Once awhile you will either get 5 points then point stopped accumulating. Then they sent me 5 year anniversary reward of 500 points, however they took it back in the early evening on the same day. Sometimes points dropped while I was searching. Contact Microsoft help center is hopeless. First they sent me pages of pages steps telling me to correct it from setting. When responding stated that was not the case and didn't work, they stopped responding no matter how many times you contact them. I stopped trying and playing or even border.

    Same. I can't get any points from searches on mobile and on PC it now randomly counts a few of the seaches (like if I search 50 times I'll maybe get 6 or 7 searches counted towards giving points.) I tried contacting support (twice) but they didn't help at all (it's been over 2 weeks now)

    Currently the only way I can get points is reading news on mobile

    Yeah, it seems there is some kind of cooldown time after every 4 searches, they don't want you to do all the searches in one go in just a few minutes, and get done for the day. Wow, now they are trying to control how fast we can earn the points in a day.

    We would like to inform you that the experience you had about not earning points from your searches is by design. Changes were recently made within the crediting system. No worries though, you'll start earning points after doing a couple of initial searches. Rest assured, the points that you will earn for the day will not be affected, you will still have the capability to earn until you reach your maximum daily earning limit.
