Why am I not getting rewards points for searches anymore?

Found a work around to search not registering points. Open browser to Microsoft start. Do search get 5 points.

Bing page opens

If the rewards icon turns blue no more searches register after 3 attempts (15 points) .

Hit back arrow to Microsoft start and search from there registers.

This may be why only 15 points if rewards icon is blue.

I reached 150 points on pc searches doing it this way,

bing serches are messed up last 2 days you only get 20 points and it stops counying on mobile also

I'm so mad at microsoft right now . They don't count my points anymore for some reason . I'm just so mad because I really want to reach my goal . So please fix that microsoft or I'm going to be back on google .

I'm having the same issues. the bing app and edge browser has just gone to **** all together. i cant earn any points searching on bing mobile app via iphone. no matter what i type in and how long i wait in between. the cash back for reciepts section of the app is literally broken now. i can scan and get rewards but i cant see my balance or add any offers. not even worth using this service anymore. might as well use Brave Browser and get actualy currency in return.

FWIW... I reported the "new" issue to Support. Funny thing though, no acknowledgement of it going in when I hit submit. Didn't it used to ? And no email confirmation of them receiving it either with the usual yada yada 24hours or some such (though the last one I recall was more "due to high volume of submissions we apologize for... " ...never doing anything or replying as I recall. All it seemed to do was reset the page back to the blank support form. So, I opened a new discussion here. Got a quick friendly reply from a real person who actually read the question (which, no lie, was a bit of a shock and surprise). They couldn't suggest anything beyond what I'd already done though, except for trying support (which I had neglected to mention trying before opening the discussion so that's on me}.

I kind of wonder if support has been shut down and nobody told the people manning the discussion area ? Because it sounds a bit like my last issue where I had stupidly signed up for "automatic" points redemption, which turned out to be NOT automatic in redeeming, only in deducting, and not working properly either, so when I went to un-sign up/turn off the automatic redemption, and found they had recently turned off the ability to turn it off, I tried submitting a request to support (with the same apparent no submission accepted, and never a reply). When that failed I tried here and got a not quite helpful suggestion to use the option to turn off the automatic redemption. Seems the person here was not aware that the option had been deleted. FWIW the automatic redemption did eventually, mysteriously, unannounced, turn itself off, sort of. It stopped deducting points but keeps telling me to redeem the automatic redemption award. Anyway, I'm just venting because MS appears to be dead. Time to go shopping for a Sony PS and Mac I guess. WAIT ! That's a joke ! Really ! Don't dele...
