Bing | Microsoft Rewards
A program that grants points for using Bing search, which users can redeem for gift cards, sweepstakes entries, or charitable donations.
This type of thing has been going on for about a year now. Usually, it is that you can only get credit for 3-4 searches every 15 minutes. (What a pain!) It appears to me that Microsoft throttles us, when we accrue a large number of points, so I've started redeeming them as soon as I can get $10 in Amazon gift cards and that seems to help. Also, I found that it helps to change your settings to remove browsing history on exit. That's an inconvenience though, because you have to then go add all the sites you visit regularly, so that they don't tell you they don't recognize your device and then send you verification codes, each time you open the URL. I wish Microsoft would just STOP IT!
