Hi all! I've been in this battle for a while now and getting nowhere. Here's a rundown of what's been happening: I had an incorrect cashback amount credited to my account, so I reached out to support The first support person asked for more information and gave a list of what they needed I responded with the requested information After a week, I wrote a new ticket since they said I should have had an answer within 24h. In the new one, I ensured it already had all the information requested so it wouldn't be asked for again The new ticket was answered within 24h and closed due to the old one being open A few days later I wrote in again with all the information since I still haven't heard back on the first one This ticket was responded to asking for the same information I put in the ticket request. I responded with the information again. I'm guessing they had given a canned response in the beginning No response so wrote in another ticket... this time organizing the information requested previously into a much more prominent way This ticket gets responded to asking for.... you guessed it, the same information again! This ticket goes unresponsive once I re-send the information again... I write another ticket. This one is closed because the original one, still unanswered, is "open" I just sent in yet another ticket with the same information I keep sending that keeps being repeatedly asked for again and again despite sending it I'm honestly at a loss of what to do at this point. It's very clear at this point that nobody is actually reading the tickets; they read a few words and then give canned responses. But they also aren't reading the first few words because if they were they'd see the requested information at the top of the tickets... Is there a phone number I can call where I can speak to an actual person? Some way to escalate this? This has been an uphill battle and I'm just hoping to finally get it resolved so I can move on. Cashback is asking for a phone number to deposit my cashback into paypal. My account already has a phone number.

I would reply that the correct phone number is in my profile.

I received an email from Microsoft Cashback on May 1, 2024 that I had earned lifetime earnings of $52.72. Of that amount $26.64 was pending and that $26.08 was transferred to PAYPAL. I called PAYPAL and they had no knowledge of any such transfer. I have emailed to someone named Dianne at Microsoft for a week and still no results. From the looks of the complaints, I don`t think Microsoft intends to give any rewards back!

I hope you do but wouldn't hold your breath. Microsoft is the world's largest company with market cap around 2.89 billion but hands down has the worst customer support in the world & they are incapable of even offering a rewards program that works. And forget even trying to engage in any comment section on their MSN news articles, that is of course if you have conservative views of any sort, because they will always "go against community standards" & be deleted. I've taken screen shots of comments of mine deemed to be violating community standards because I simply could not believe it, the most innocent, polite, innocuous replies were a "violation". Yet the nasty, rude comment riddled with name calling I was trying to reply to was just fine, lol. It's insanity🤷♀️

Hi. Did you log in to your PayPal account and look to see if there was a credit for that amount, or did you just call? If you requested the PayPal deposit, did you verify the email? The payout request page is a bit awkward in my opinion, and easy to mess up - I did! Other than that, my experience has been good so far. I have earned just over $122. Twice I have had the money transferred to PayPal no problem once I got the payout thing figured out. I currently have $14.40 pending. I was concerned because I got nothing after 3 weeks, so I filed a support ticket. I got an email back a couple of days later asking for the order information and any screenshots that were relevant, so I provided those and waited. A few days later I got an email saying they had a ton of support requests and thanked me for my patience. I got another email saying the same thing a couple of weeks later. I never replied or tried to file another ticket during this time. Just a couple of days ago I got one thanking me for my patience and informing me that my cashback would be finalized in July. Yes, that is a long time since I made the purchase in March. However, while Microsoft does give the cashback to you, it is the retailer that gives them the money (from what I understand) since it is their promotion and Microsoft gets a cut for getting people to their website. That said, I am pretty sure many of the delays are due to the return policies of the retailer. Receipt scanning credit happens very quickly, and I have only had to wait if there is a specific item that gets you extra money, like buying a specific brand. It is the online purchases that take time. When they still provided cashback at restaurants it always took a week to clear. Basically, file one report and be patient. Find out the store's return policy as some places allow up to 90 days for returns. Hopefully this is helpful information. Good luck!
