Hi all! I've been in this battle for a while now and getting nowhere. Here's a rundown of what's been happening: I had an incorrect cashback amount credited to my account, so I reached out to support The first support person asked for more information and gave a list of what they needed I responded with the requested information After a week, I wrote a new ticket since they said I should have had an answer within 24h. In the new one, I ensured it already had all the information requested so it wouldn't be asked for again The new ticket was answered within 24h and closed due to the old one being open A few days later I wrote in again with all the information since I still haven't heard back on the first one This ticket was responded to asking for the same information I put in the ticket request. I responded with the information again. I'm guessing they had given a canned response in the beginning No response so wrote in another ticket... this time organizing the information requested previously into a much more prominent way This ticket gets responded to asking for.... you guessed it, the same information again! This ticket goes unresponsive once I re-send the information again... I write another ticket. This one is closed because the original one, still unanswered, is "open" I just sent in yet another ticket with the same information I keep sending that keeps being repeatedly asked for again and again despite sending it I'm honestly at a loss of what to do at this point. It's very clear at this point that nobody is actually reading the tickets; they read a few words and then give canned responses. But they also aren't reading the first few words because if they were they'd see the requested information at the top of the tickets... Is there a phone number I can call where I can speak to an actual person? Some way to escalate this? This has been an uphill battle and I'm just hoping to finally get it resolved so I can move on. I HAVE TRIED FOR TWO (2) MONTHS TO GET $51.13 OF CASHBACK REWARDS MONEY WITH NO SUCCESS. HAVE EXCHANGED EMAILS WITH FIVE (5) DIFFERENT MICROSOFT SUPPORT PEOPLE AND STILL NO RESULTS.

Not a single person who has posted on this board has had a chance to get the refund. Its all being avoided by Microsoft with vague answers from offshore support, with no continuity in email, just sending the same script reply again and again. Leson learned, I use Edge about 99% of the time, except when buying something. I log off Edge browser and avoid Bing and will use Google chrome for purchases to insure they get no credit. Its a shame that Microsoft software runs the world, otherwise service like this would not get very far.

To everyone who has been cheated by Microsoft Cashback: Please file a fraud report with the FTC. It's a quick and simple form that you fill out on the FTC website. Fraud reports are very important, as they're the only way to inform the FTC that many people are being scammed by this program. An investigation by the government seems to be the only way anything might improve, as we all know that MS Support is a sick joke. My own ticket has been open for almost six months, with absolutely zero progress toward any resolution.

Will I just filed my report with the FTC. Clear and concise and nothing but facts. MS offers cash back on items then cancels the cash back and either requests the same info repeatedly or tells you they're looking into it repeatedly with zero resolution.

I wish I had known that I wasn't going to get my cashback money. I WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED SO MUCH TIME. SURELY MICROSOFT KNOWS HOW MUCH THIS BAD P R IS GOING TO HURT THEM DOWN THE ROAD.
