How Do You Contact Microsoft Cashback Support?

Hi all! I've been in this battle for a while now and getting nowhere. Here's a rundown of what's been happening:

  • I had an incorrect cashback amount credited to my account, so I reached out to support
  • The first support person asked for more information and gave a list of what they needed
  • I responded with the requested information
  • After a week, I wrote a new ticket since they said I should have had an answer within 24h. In the new one, I ensured it already had all the information requested so it wouldn't be asked for again
  • The new ticket was answered within 24h and closed due to the old one being open
  • A few days later I wrote in again with all the information since I still haven't heard back on the first one
  • This ticket was responded to asking for the same information I put in the ticket request. I responded with the information again. I'm guessing they had given a canned response in the beginning
  • No response so wrote in another ticket... this time organizing the information requested previously into a much more prominent way
  • This ticket gets responded to asking for.... you guessed it, the same information again!
  • This ticket goes unresponsive once I re-send the information again...
  • I write another ticket. This one is closed because the original one, still unanswered, is "open"
  • I just sent in yet another ticket with the same information I keep sending that keeps being repeatedly asked for again and again despite sending it

I'm honestly at a loss of what to do at this point. It's very clear at this point that nobody is actually reading the tickets; they read a few words and then give canned responses. But they also aren't reading the first few words because if they were they'd see the requested information at the top of the tickets...

Is there a phone number I can call where I can speak to an actual person? Some way to escalate this? This has been an uphill battle and I'm just hoping to finally get it resolved so I can move on.

Thank you!

Same problem. They owe me cashback from approx 10 purchases. I have provided all the info they have requested, and yet they keep closing my case# due to "inactivity". No phone number. Nothing.

They just closed my inquiry...without ever providing an actual answer.

I bought a fireplace in December from Home Depot based on the "8%" cashback from Microsoft on Hime Goods, furnishings and appliances.
I got a "we got you covered email " from Microsoft for my cashback as confirmation as well.
1 Month, Nothing in the rewards or a receipt of purchase.
Email Support ..."Give it 30 days"...
2 Month, Nothing on the site, email inquiry. "Please send us all the proof" - Sent
3 Month, Nothing, I follow up - "Please send us all the proof again" - Sent again.
4 Month, Nothing - Followup sent - "Found Not Eligible" I ask why, no answer.
4 Month, Nothing, Followup again - "Found Not Eligible", I ask why and request a reason or a call why its not?
5 Month, Nothing Followup again - Found Not Eleigble" , I ask for contact again and/or why it is not - Nothing. And then I receiv a "Case Closed" email.

They don't solve anything! They ask for the same information over and over no matter how many times you send it to them! They owe me $7 right now that they cheated me out of by declining the "deals" that they offered!

MS Cash back has gotten so terrible lately. I have a receipt from Few weeks ago with two different $2 "deals" offers. One was declined and the other never tracked. Same story with sending screenshots and pictures and getting replies from different support people requesting the same information. I keep sending them the info over and over again.

Then this past weekend I had another, this time a $2 and a $1 "deals". Both tracked this time but were cancelled. Started a new support ticket for this one. Got an email the next day saying:

"Upon further investigation, we have identified that there is already a duplicate main service request 7036729306 related to your concern. In order to streamline the support process and ensure that your issue is addressed effectively, we will be closing this current service request while keeping the main thread active."

I emailed them back and said:

"This is a new request, not the same as last time. Last time was for Klondike cones and Hellman's Mayo from several weeks ago for $4 total that still isn't resolved. This request is for ice cream and cereal from this past Sunday (3/10/24) for $3 total. Thank you"

Useless support is useless. At this point it's not even worth scanning receipts anymore to get a measly $0.01-$0.03. not even worth the effort if they're going to "review" every $0.01 scan and then scam me out of their own offers.
