The first image you see shows the History button. What I think happened is that they added the Protected banner and it covers the button and nobody noticed it at Microsoft

OMG that's exactly what happened. Extremely frustrating. I find if I click off there's a good chance it resets my chat, so I can't use any other program or browser while in Copilot right now. I prefer the "preview" to the browser version as I like how it functions as a pop-up integrated in my taskbar, but if I can't use the history function I don't see why I'd keep using Copilot over GPT's site.

F$%^&*# dam it. Just lost 30mins work. I got distracted on another task and change of screen for 5 minutes! Come back GONE. Cumon Microsoft!!
It sucks especially when my company computer is locked out of Chat GPT. The ony way is to constantly copy paste into word or such, or use my personal pc next to me with ChatGPT eeerrrghhhh!!!!
