I don't use the standalone app. I use the copilot built into Edge when I click on the new page tab and fill in a question. Normally if I do nothing Bing search answers my question. If I click the Copilot option, I get a screen to interact with Copilot AI and it lists all my previous conversations on my right. This morning when I clicked on the copilot icon instead of the usual interface, I was greeted with a good morning page, and all these square boxes listing topics? Down at the bottom was a tiny text area for asking copilot a question. That triggered copilot to make me sign into my Microsoft user account. Then it asked me what name I want to be called by, and to select a voice for copilot audio responses. After making my selections I was back to a text area to converse with AI, but the interface is still on a colorful background and none of my previous conversations are showing. Also, despite the fact that I was prompted for a voice for copilot, it answers me in text not audio. Where is my old AI copilot conversation history? I don't see a history option for copilot in the browser interface?
