what is the reason of adding cooldown in my microsoft rewards

There was a week where I was able to do all of my mobile and PC searches with the normal five seconds between them. Now it's back to limiting my PC to three or four (that is very inconsistent, which makes no sense) and my mobile searches basically don't count at all anymore.

Those were the days. My mobile won't work unless all of my PC searches are done first. Which takes all day and night. Most of time my phone searches won't work at all. 😑

My account has been on a 15 mn. COOL DOWN. per1-3 searches for nearly 3 months. It happens a lot but this is BS. M$ CS does nothing. They never bother to answer my tickets. I have been with bing since it started but they treat me like dirt. They know what they're doing and have never fixed anything. Bing is the joke of the internet.👎👺

When I read "gibberish" it made.me think of something. Ever since I got a new mobile I've noticed something annoying. I enter something for a search and results are bizarrely not related. It took a while to realize (paid more attention to incidences,) thst autocorrect was changing a keyword.

Then I thought of how when texting or emailing, I often would catch a word replaced by words that in no way make sense in a sentence. I go back, retype the correct word and again changed immediately to something not close. I also noticed when texting and you know you aren't 100% sure of a spelling but close, auto suggestions would result in a correct spelling to select. Nope, not anymore....literally blank at time. I have checked my settings and everything is the same as previous device.

So if someone either accidentally mistypes something in Bing search accidentally or damn device is changing word and you don't notice, Microsoft I suppose is only looking at searches in one dimension. Hitting search multiple times after 'mistakes' is tough luck. They are leaving no margin for errors which put "gibberish " in the search. Hmm.

i have never used vpn or auto searcher.

then what is the reason behind the cooldown timer.

it is being so unusual to me.

so plese remove the cooldown for my rewards search.

I know this is old news to many, but I just experienced this, complained and was insulted by CS. I use no tricks. Numbers and gibberish entries are legitimate searches. I type them. With my own fingers. Sometimes my nose. Microsoft without notice makes these changes motivated by greed and dares to call out its users?

Therefore, until I receive an apology, my future searches will include "Microsoft" and some inappropriate phrasing. Cheers.

Here I am, in October, and I've done six different searches on my phone, using the Bing app. It's been at least a minute for two between searches, and it's only counted one. The first one.

If the whole point is to boost search traffic, why would you do this to the people trying to boost your searches? It's frustrating and insulting.
