How can I disable Copilot in Bing search engine?

The most annoying feature by Microsoft on a miniature scale when using mobile devices.

Scrolling through search results when using Bing search engine on mobile devices automatically switches over to the Copilot tab. There should be a switch in Search Settings (attached pictures) to disable Copilot in all search results.

I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to disable Copilot in Bing's search engine settings, as it's integrated into the browsing experience. We're all users here, and Microsoft employees don't often visit the community, you can provide direct feedback to the Bing team by using the Feedback option at the bottom of the search results page.

In the meantime, I recommend downloading the Microsoft Edge app or the Bing app, as this feature isn't present in those platforms. I understand how frustrating this can be, and I hope this workaround helps improve your search experience.

Just a quick update:

The Microsoft Bing team has added a feature to disable the function that opens Copilot/Bing chat when scrolling down or attempting to refresh the page.

You can disable this feature by clicking on the Menu icon (≡) and toggling off "Scroll to open Copilot".

    Here are some pics. Now remember, when you used to highlight a tracking number, Bing provided the tracking info. NO intermediate steps.

    No, with this **** "AI" that automatically assumes control BING (via co-pilot) claims tracking is just impossible.

    Here are some pics.

    Pic 1. Tracking # highlighted, "search the web for (selected tracking #) is chosen from pop-up options menu.

    Pic 2. Copilot WITHOUT PROMPTING, CHOOSING OR OFFERING A CHOICE, hijacks the search AND PROVIDES NO TRACKING INFO.

    Pic 3. When explained to this retarded "AI" that it is a tracking number, Microsoft's latest abortion Copilot explains that providing tracking info (which it has done for over a decade prior to becoming "artificially intelligent" is not possible.

    I want copilot off my Bing searches altogether. I've switched to google. Until MICROSOFT stops trying to force useless, time sucking **** down my throat, I will not use Bing.

    I cannot reproduce what you describe. So... Please, tell & or show me what you are entering, where & how.

    As I said, I cannot make what you describe happen. If & when I do a plain ole regular search Copilot does not come into play. I have to, actually, specifically use Copilot, initially, for it to be involved.

    I'm keen to help you. Please, provide the requested details. Snips would be very enlightening, if you would do that, too.

    It's not allowing me to choose. I enter a search term and it pops up. I;ve tried disableing. I've searched the site trying to find a choose option. Nothing. I have now spent 30 min trying to do a simple search, haven't done the search and co-pilot won't leave.

    I tried the disable features and they don't work. I am trying to do just a simple phrase search to complete a cut off text for work and can't get past co-pilot introducing itself. This is preventing me from doing my job. I have left feedback but I'll have to find another search engine as this is untenable. I would rather have an opt-in or some such so I can choose to use it rather than being forced to train the AI with my work.
