Why is Microsoft Rewards limiting how much I can earn?

I've been doing microsoft rewards for around 2 years and I've gotten consistent points, but since last month Microsoft has been slowly degrading how many points I can get.
For example, they've been only giving 1 POINT now for each task I do instead of 10 points, basically no monthly punch cards, and they just deleted my edge search points.
Is this on purpose to limit how many points older accounts with more points can get?
(I dont want a "Thank you for your opinion, we are going to look into this issue" robot response please)

2024-09-24T15:43:16+00:00 Yeah same here, was grinding a lot of points for a couple of months and then some kind of limiter shows up for no apparent reason. Scummy corpo system I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Can't expect much from microsoft

2024-12-13T15:49:50+00:00 Microsoft suspended my account for some made up reason, took my points I earned away the day i was getting $25. Took a few months to earn and just like that gone all the time spent was wasted. I dont play xbox anymore. I play ps5

2024-12-14T03:45:09+00:00 This is what I have come to expect of them. Trust me, this is not the first time I have been wronged by Microsoft. I am looking at changing out my platforms on everything. I was going to setup shop with Microsoft. Now I wouldn't even rent an outhouse from them.
