I've been doing microsoft rewards for around 2 years and I've gotten consistent points, but since last month Microsoft has been slowly degrading how many points I can get.
For example, they've been only giving 1 POINT now for each task I do instead of 10 points, basically no monthly punch cards, and they just deleted my edge search points.
Is this on purpose to limit how many points older accounts with more points can get?
(I dont want a "Thank you for your opinion, we are going to look into this issue" robot response please)

You have to wait at least 15 minutes after accumulating points for the 4 searches. Microsoft has deployed a timer to block points for 15 minutes after you’ve accumulated 15 points sometimes I can get 20 points.
Been having a nice issue where I try to get the points and I have to log in then out then in then out then in before I start earning anything! This is getting ridiculous I have done 6 searches on my account and have yielded NOTHING!
It seems like the first of each day I’ll do three searches them I’ll get 15 points all at once. Then nothing until I wait at least 15 minutes. Then I’ll get the usual 5 point a search for three searches at that point I stop getting points until I wait 15 points again. I’ve managed to tally my 100 points on my phone and 150 on my iPad a few days. It take diligence and starting early in the day.
Try searching for the ‘Cooldown timer’ and 15 minutes for the Microsoft Rewards program.
All that isn't worth my time, effort and energy.. I was told by my better half I spend too much time on it anyhow. Do the ones who do this not know how much you can earn in the real world in that length of time? Just saying. I really do hope you all make your fortunes at this. Goodbye.
Btw, I have gone on there many times throughout the day today and got 0 points each time. Everyone's advice isn't working. i have tried from multiple computers and phones.
