Why is Microsoft Rewards limiting how much I can earn?

I've been doing microsoft rewards for around 2 years and I've gotten consistent points, but since last month Microsoft has been slowly degrading how many points I can get.

For example, they've been only giving 1 POINT now for each task I do instead of 10 points, basically no monthly punch cards, and they just deleted my edge search points.

Is this on purpose to limit how many points older accounts with more points can get?

(I dont want a "Thank you for your opinion, we are going to look into this issue" robot response please)

same, my 10 point clicks are now 1 or 2 points. i thought i might have been bc i downloaded the microsoft app on my phone around the same time. but i guess i'll be doing my searching and news browsing on my preferred browser from now on. Without the point incentive, i feel like its a lot of click bait? boooooo

Yeah, riiiiight. "growth and expansion" More like "greed and expensive". Jesus Microsoft, don't you make enough already??? Why do all these large corporations just want more More MORE???? Tired of giving all us peons "so much"? Not like we haven't been backing you up since your inception. Not like we haven't been spending LOADS of hard-earned money on the **** you put out basically because you have forced us to. No. Now after only a couple of years you've got to take away one of the very few things you've given back to the many who have helped make you what you are today. Definitely plan on switching back to Yahoo or something else. Would be Google, but they're getting to be the same way too.

Hello everyone. I appreciate the replies. I'm experiencing the same.

It would be proper if the Bing team gave a notification of the situation.

    Good day.

They know, and they don't care. There was no advance notice, and there hasn't been a clear explanation- it's all just double talk about the program evolving. I'm done - I have better things to do than three searches every fifteen minutes, after the first three which don't count.

yes Microsoft is disrespectful against users using Microsoft rewards they should not remove bonus points using edge this is why they come up with edge to use it and then they add edge to rewards to get extra points. i did send them alot of e-mails i am upset i want edge points back.

I agree with all of the other comments. No way I'm doing a puzzle for 1 point, or answering a question for 1 point, or even clicking a link for 1 point. It's embarrassing for Microsoft, and quite frankly disrespectful towards us users.
