Why is Microsoft Rewards limiting how much I can earn?

I've been doing microsoft rewards for around 2 years and I've gotten consistent points, but since last month Microsoft has been slowly degrading how many points I can get.

For example, they've been only giving 1 POINT now for each task I do instead of 10 points, basically no monthly punch cards, and they just deleted my edge search points.

Is this on purpose to limit how many points older accounts with more points can get?

(I dont want a "Thank you for your opinion, we are going to look into this issue" robot response please)

    Yes they have made some changes and will not let you get more than a few Search and Earn credit at a time. Close all your tabs and close the app Wait an hour try to get get a few more and repeat.

    Keep hammering the Rewards support wit your issues.

    It’s time for a class action suit. Been going on for a month or more. It submitted multiple tickets.

    Take a look at your Rewords Badges. All my Earned dates are 7/12/2023 funny how I can earn them all at once. I submitted a ticket but no response.

    Is anyone having trouble earning points while using their iPad (Safari browser)? I can’t seem to earn any points for searches even though I’m adhering to the new criteria. I’ve contacted Microsoft and their suggestion is to clear cache and log off and log back in, but nothing works. If anyone has the same issue and found a resolution, please share. Thanks!

    I knew I wasn't crazy when I noticed I wasn't racking up MicroSoft points as quickly as before.

    Personally it is now not worth messing with to me. It will take so long to get enough points it is now a waste of my time. They have reduced the amount of points to the point it’s time to look at alternative browsers and what they have to offer in comparison. Hope they reverse this and figure out they can reduce a good product and program to a point it has the reverse effect than what was initially intended.

    Yep I’m gonna finish my 365 streak then stop using them. There’s other browsers I can use that let them get my credit for using their service.
