A program that grants points for using Bing search, which users can redeem for gift cards, sweepstakes entries, or charitable donations.
This is utterly ridiculous. I am taking advantage of earnig points while searching for the best tour and sightseeing deals to do with my grandson in NYC while he's here on his first visit to the Northeast and now I'm limited?? Here we go with yet another fun program diminishing benefits for users. I do research for work. I'm always looking for new adventures, vacations, randomly looking up facts on what I see in the news.
Google is the stronger search engine, delivering better results than Bing, but the rewards program keeps me coming back to Microsoft almost daily and my main source of looking up information. Microsoft also used to offer opportunities to earn addional points beyond the standard 150/day, and there were more earning possibilities in monthly e-mails. When I'm online researching I don't always have the abiltiy to "come back in 15 minutes" to do a few more searches that will earn points. If I have to do that, I'll get my points and switch over to Google.
Not a happy customer!
