Microsoft Rewards is a scam!

I have got a Amazon gift card from Microsoft rewards.

It's not a scam or fraud or spam whatever you say.

OK I was wrong and ask for some help. as I am a Amazon prime member I remember somethig about a gift card but also e=reqquie=red a mobile phone # and I have no cellar servis in this remoe area I live in , so am just so confused .

Ya I use to get gift cards to until they started scamming me... I used my landline to get my code to cash out now they will not accept my landline so yes now they are a scam and stealing my point since they are demanding I have a cell phone to cash out which is total bs not everyone has a cell phone.. This is a Microsoft program and it should be able to cash out using my windows computer.

Not a scam just NOT something YOU can use (as it is.)

It really won't let you use your landline with the "call me" option? If not write to them and ask them about it.

They have suggested to me to use someone else's phone for verification. Do you have a family member or a friend you trust (or who lives nearby) to use theirs for verification?

they demand you now have a cell phone to get a text to be able to cash out, they did this with out telling anyone so yes they are now a scam

Actually, I did get a response from customer service. They told me I was going to lose all point, no rewards, no nada. Why:

• My location used was not consistent - hello - I use a VPN and also travel. That does not make me a thief!!!!
• Having more than one user account per individual - if that is the case - get out of all Microsoft products as the control should be at the account level which prevents duplicate accounts.
• I was also accused of using rewards outside the area authorized - have lived in NJ for the past 60 years - no change in residence.

There were other allegations that are completely false.

I use an iPhone and iPad. Was going to replace my windows-based PC - will now convert everything to Apple - will advise all clients to use Apple.

Actually, willing to buy Microsoft stock so I can ask why is Microsoft Rewards a scam at the annual shareholders meeting. Anyone want to join me?

I was going to tell you they send that form letter to everybody, but you use a VPN, so that's where you went wrong.
