Surface Earbuds not going into Pairing mode

Everytime I try to pair the earbuds (click button for 5 secs), it blinks 5 times then goes back to a steady light. I've tried doing a factory reset and firmware reset but nothing works.

May I know what device you're trying to pair your Surface earbuds?

You may need to update your Surface Earbuds, see Update Surface Earbuds - Microsoft Support for more details.

I am trying (for the first time) to connect my Earbuds to my Windows 11 PC (HP Elitebook G6). I tried connecting it via the Surface APP however it doesn't find it and when going into pairing mode (on the earbuds) it blinks 5 times then goes back to a steady light.

If none of the steps works. Then probably it's a hardware failure. I suggest contacting our live support team to check options for your Surface earbuds. You may reach them following the instructions below.

Go to Contact Us - Microsoft Support and select Devices.
Choose your preferred support method.
Type in the problem you need help with.
Look at any available solutions offered and select Contact Support.
