Surface Duo 2 Bluetooth Issues

When connected to a Bluetooth audio device like my car or Surface Ear Buds I have the following problem:

Connects properly without issues. Listen to music or Audible for a few minutes and the audio stops. The audio doesn't pause, the Bluetooth doesn't disconnect but the sound just stops.

Disconnecting Bluetooth in audio device and surfaceduo2 and restarting helps but the problem will repeat. Makes BT unusable.

Anyone else have this problem??

I opened a support case with Microsoft today and they confirmed that this is a known issue and is being investigated to find the resolution. My thought is the issue came along with the Dec 2021 update. Hopefully a future update will resolve the issue. So.... We wait.

I was just messing around, and did not do anything to the watch expecting I could re-install the plugin and just have re-connect...but nope had to wipe the watch.

I did just goto apps list and I removed the watch 4 plugin only did not touch the wearable app itself.

I just looked at my list and the name seems different now then before but dont recall exactly what is had prior, right now mine is listed as "Galaxy Watch4 Manager" I think prior it said Galaxy Watch4 Plugin"

I am very curious about the Samsung Galaxy watch plug-in thing was it the wearables plugin that you removed I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 watch I noticed that my watch would always try to answer the calls first I would have to tap speaker or phone to get it to answer on the phone so what you discovered may fix my problem as well. Yesterday I happen to reset my watch because I couldn't get messages to come through it anymore but I did not remove the wearables app if that is the one you are talking about? Since I reset my watch most things are working much much better including my Surface buds and my car worked perfect today so you might be onto something
