Surface Duo 2 Bluetooth Issues

When connected to a Bluetooth audio device like my car or Surface Ear Buds I have the following problem:

Connects properly without issues. Listen to music or Audible for a few minutes and the audio stops. The audio doesn't pause, the Bluetooth doesn't disconnect but the sound just stops.

Disconnecting Bluetooth in audio device and surfaceduo2 and restarting helps but the problem will repeat. Makes BT unusable.

Anyone else have this problem??

I had problems with auto Bluetooth connections. Unpairing, the re-pairing seems to have helped.

Removing the Verizon Messages + app seems to hand resolved my Bluetooth audio disconnect problems!

Same use case for me as well... I just uninstalled it and have not had the issue yet... Maybe give it a shot, but I I know it seems weird

I use Google messages but the images are blurry so sometimes I do open VZmessage+ sometimes. I have it installed and working.
