Surface Duo 2 Bluetooth Issues

When connected to a Bluetooth audio device like my car or Surface Ear Buds I have the following problem:

Connects properly without issues. Listen to music or Audible for a few minutes and the audio stops. The audio doesn't pause, the Bluetooth doesn't disconnect but the sound just stops.

Disconnecting Bluetooth in audio device and surfaceduo2 and restarting helps but the problem will repeat. Makes BT unusable.

Anyone else have this problem??

Still happening too frequently. Both on the car and surface ear buds. Amazingly annoying. It doesn't make sense as only the audio drops but still connected via BT and can even Pause/Play using earbuds or car audio controls... it's as if the audio is muted or redirected to another output device...

I haven't had it cut out in a call yet. Usually music or Audible on car or headphones. Still happens but if feels less frequent after Update.

The Dec 2021 update, Update 2021.923.272, did not fix my bluetooth issue which is exactly as described above.

I really hope this is fixed soon. It is most annoying not only when I'm listening to music, but when I'm using my bluetooth headphones during a Teams Meeting.

The December 6, 2021 update to the Surface Duo 2 included some Bluetooth changes. You might see if that improved things. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/surface-duo-2-update-history-a3e72e49-8165-4ea6-b490-7fdc2a76c262 .
