Roku Streaming Stick+ is a streaming media player. Plugs into the HDMI port of your TV, connects to your home Wifi network, and allows you to stream Hulu, Sling, etc. The Roku has the ability to also accept screen mirroring/projecting (Miracast) streams from other devices on the Wifi network. My Dell laptop, can project to the Rokus just fine, so screen mirroring works on the Rokus. My Surface Go dis unable to establish a connection however.
Hi Smonty99 ,
Thank you for the detailed information. I am assuming that your Surface Go is connected to your Wi-Fi network without issues. I am wondering if it has something to do with the compatibility or the network chip of the Surface. We are currently investigating and trying to reproduce the issue.
In the meantime please try to clear the hardware's cache by pressing and holding the power button and volume up button simultaneously for 15 seconds. This will boot to the UEFI page, you can click Exit setup and restart the Surface.
You may also download and run the Surface Diagnostic Tool Kit. This will help fix potential issues on the device and make sure your device is up to date.
Best regards,
