Hi Jme!
Thanks for getting back to us and apologies for the delayed response as I have been out of office.
We appreciate you for providing more details on this. Most common reason for this issue can be caused by a corrupted or outdated driver. Please follow suggested troubleshooting steps below:
Reinstall your network driver through device manager. Please follow steps below:
- On the search box of your Surface device, search for Device Manager.
- Open Device Manager.
- Locate and expand Network adapter. Then, right-click your device's network adapter. For example, either Marvell AVASTAR adapter or Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Wireless Network Adapter.
- Select Uninstall device. Please note: another pop up will appear, just leave the box empty and click Ok.
- On the top view of Device Manager, go to Action and scan for hardware changes that will automatically reinstall your network adapter.
- Lastly, force your device to shutdown and restart. Press and hold power button for 20seconds. Wait for the Windows logo to appear, once it does, you can then release the button and wait for your device to restart.
Please let us know how it goes. We look forward to hearing from you.
Greetings,
RodelioP.
