2025-07-06T06:24:44.37+00:00 Hello, I'm Thileep, I'm happy to help you!
1). Do you see any red "X" symbols or error messages on the sound icon in your taskbar? Are you able to decrease/increase the volume?
2). Are you using built-in speakers, or are you connecting external audio devices (like headphones or speakers)?
Let's try these troubleshooting steps
###Run the audio troubleshooter
a). Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
b). Go to System > Sound > Advanced > Troubleshoot common problems under Output devices.
c). Follow the on-screen instructions and check if it resolves the issue.
###Update the driver
a). Press Win + X, select Device Manager.
b). Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
c). Right-click your audio driver (Realtek/Intel/AMD Audio, etc.) and select Update driver.
If the issue persists, right-click the driver, select Uninstall, and restart your PC. If the driver is not automatically reinstalled, visit your computer manufacturer's website to download and install the latest version. If you're having trouble finding the driver, please provide your computer's make and model, and I'll assist you in locating the correct one. Alternatively, you can share a screenshot of your system information by following these steps:
a). Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.
b). Take a screenshot of the System Information window and share it here.
