My Surface Pro 3 is fully updated with the latest firmware and updates and the wireless display also has the latest updates.
When I have my bluetooth on and I connect to the wireless display adapter, my TV's max resolution that I can set is 1366 x 768 but when I turn my bluetooth off first and then connect to the wireless display adapter I can set my TV to 1920 x 1080.
It's kind of annoying to have to turn bluetooth off first before I connect to my tv. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

I just reinstalled previous driver for Intel HD graphic card (10.18.10.3496) and it works like a charm now at full HD, with the arc touch mouse paired and connected.
I noticed that the new driver for Intel HD graphic card killed miracast for the EZcast dongle too. I think Intel must work with Microsoft on that big issue for a future update.
I have the same issue. When I connect a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to my Surface the highest resolution that it allows is 1366 x768, but I can do full resolution 1980 x 1020. All of my bluetooth devices are Microsoft products. It's weird that they'd cause an issue. I do have my Surface in a docking station too, but the problem only occurs with bluetooth devices attached.
Just received my Display adapter today and had the 1366x768 problem. Search and fount this thread. I have a Microsoft bluetooth comfort mouse. I found that I could disconnect the wireless display adapter. Then turn off the mouse using its on/off switch. Connect to the Wireless Display adapter and the resolution could be moved up to HDTV 1920x1080 size 1377x768 was nor longer the max. When I closed the control panel windows asked if I wanted the keep the settings I replied yes. I then turned the mouse back on and it would work. When I check my display settings the were still 2160x1440 and 1920x1080. Tested the several times. If the mouse is paired when I pair the display adapter the max size is 1366x768.
It's caused by the new driver of Intel HD graphics. Go back to a previous version and it will be ok.

The Surface Engineering folks have the info from this thread. It is definitely the video driver. I do not know when there will be a driver ipdate to fix this.
