My Surface Pro 3 is fully updated with the latest firmware and updates and the wireless display also has the latest updates.
When I have my bluetooth on and I connect to the wireless display adapter, my TV's max resolution that I can set is 1366 x 768 but when I turn my bluetooth off first and then connect to the wireless display adapter I can set my TV to 1920 x 1080.
It's kind of annoying to have to turn bluetooth off first before I connect to my tv. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

Updated my surface Pro 2 to W10. Experience is the same still degraded mode if BT is on. And the Wireless Display AppStore is not anymore seing me connected to a Wireless display when I'm.
Why an update in march was decreasing our experience of this device ??? Incredible!

I have a LCD display of resolution 800x480 with hdmi input . For mirroring my laptop screen (Samsung notebook with Windows 8.1 or Surface Tablet) to the display ,am using Microsoft Wireless display adapter . Initially I checked with my monitor display (1920x1080) it worked fine. When i connect the Display adapter to my small Lcd display it shows black screen always.
So MSDA supports only 1080p output ? Are there any steps to make the MSDA transmitter output to 480p so that i can connect my Lcd display .

For me this is finally fixed in Windows 10 using the 19 August update (http://www.pauby.com/blog/surface-pro-3-graphics-update-improves-performance-stability-under-windows-10/)
What I'm using:
When I initially connected the resolution on my Surface stayed at 2160 x 1440 even though the TV can't display that resolution. However it did show the screen in a box so it was obviously scaling it. Changed the resolution down to 1920 x 1080 and the TV screen showed it correctly (although a bit of chopping at top and bottom). Each connection since has connected at 1920 x 1080 and changed the resolution on the Surface to match.
Picture below confirms this.
The only issue I am left with is the dreadful lag that now exists which I didn't have previously (albeit at the wrong resolution).
My SP3 is plugged into a Mediasonic SmartDock Pro HV1-U60D2L with 2 monitors, I had to enlarge my SP3 screen resolution to 150% to get unfuzzy monitor resolution.
Now my P3 screen text is tiny and unusable as a home screen and won't zoom independently.How can I Zoom my SP3 home screen separately from my monitors? or, leave the SP3 home screen at 100% and change the zoom on my monitors independently to improve their resolution?
I can't be the only person with this issue, i suspect its pretty common.

Surface Pro User with Win 10. When I try to connect with Bluetooth on the max resolution is 1366x768 either with the wireless display adapter or projecting directly to a Samsung TV. If I turn off Bluetooth it connects at 1920x1080. When I turn bluetooth on there is some interference with the screen. When I turn on my Sculpt Comfort mouse on the second screen becomes unusable with interference but the resolution stays the same. The wireless adapter has the latest firmware.
