Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with Surface Pro 3 Resolution Problem

My Surface Pro 3 is fully updated with the latest firmware and updates and the wireless display also has the latest updates.

When I have my bluetooth on and I connect to the wireless display adapter, my TV's max resolution that I can set is 1366 x 768 but when I turn my bluetooth off first and then connect to the wireless display adapter I can set my TV to 1920 x 1080.

It's kind of annoying to have to turn bluetooth off first before I connect to my tv. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

    Nicolas,

What exact BT devices are you using?

In fact, i'm sure that it's the arc touch mouse which causes the problem, not all bluetooth devices. And this mouse is very useful when i'm doing powerpoint presentations (i'm a teacher).

    Thanks

    Nicolas,

There are reports of this issue with phones connected via Bluetooth in this thread. Do you have a specific BT device that you can connect without this issue? It appears that if you connect a device AFTER negotiating the Miracast connection that the issue does not occur and the res stays at 1920 x 1080. Can you confirm this? Start the Miracast session with the mouse flattened and inactive and then wake the mouse.

No, it's just the mouse. When it's connected, it's doesn't work at full HD. And when i reconnect the mouse, i encounter the same issue.

Added note - tested at home.  Different MWDA,  different TV, same SP3.  Issues are the exact same - SP3 runs at full resolution without a connected bluetooth device, but runs at lower resolution with a connected USB device.  Non-SP3 devices seem to always connect at full resolution.

Also - I don't remember this being an issue originally - I am nearly positive that the MWDA and SP3 were working great together from the moment the MWDA was released, until I went to use it this afternoon.

Thank for the help on this!

you mention connected USB device. is this in addition to Bluetooth? what USB devices.
