Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with Surface Pro 3 Resolution Problem

I can only tell you that MY work around is to make sure the Arc Touch Mouse is

flattened before I start a Miracast session. After it is established, I open the

mouse and the resolution stays at full HD.

No Barb, not in my experience.

As soon as I reconnect my mouse (or any other BT device) the connection is lost, when I reconnect the MWDA I have the resolution problem.

Even so when I use the MWDA in the correct 1920 resolution with BT ON and no device connected, as soon as I open the BT configuration screen the connection with the adapter is lost...

We all use the same Surface Pro 3, second screen, MWDA and Arc touch BT mouse. Due to my interference our small company here in The Netherlands switched to this configuration. And everybody is blaming me now. This is a small problem in your eyes, but it is more then that over here!

I have also contacted MS support in other ways. And probably that will not be our last step to take.

Besides the mouse, do you have any other BT devices paired, like mobile phones, etc.? (I will pass your experience on).

Have fixad my problem now. Deleted bluetooth setup for my mobile and after that everything is working. Thank you all for helping me.

I'm a volunteer. Community Moderators and MVP's do their best to help where we

can. I'm trying to get MSFT to officially address this issue for all of you.

They have to work with Intel. I don't know how long it will take. I don't have

high expectations given the track record.

Others have searched around and installed the totally unsupported generic Video

drivers from the Intel site.

No ma'am.  Others did, and it fixed the issue.  I have a lot of clients using this platform.  I'm not about to tell the helpdesk "walk the client through the rollback and hope it works".  My clients (and me) have microsoft tablets with fancy new state of the art microsoft wireless display adapters.  They all run microsoft surface keyboards and arc touch mice.

Microsoft - ya there?  You're kinda screwing us here.  Not on my pretty laptop replacement; rather, on the pallets of hardware my clients bought oh my recommendation.

How about a quick fix for your last update so we consultants can stop looking a fool and receiving the "I told you so" looks from everyone who has not bought in as I have?
